These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Plain Line SMS information service ("Service") operated by The Plain Line Company ("we," "our," or "us"). By texting Plain Line or replying START to our number, you agree to these Terms.
1. Service Description
Plain Line is a customer-initiated informational SMS service. Users send questions by text message and receive practical, informational replies. Plain Line does not send unsolicited messages. All outbound messages are sent solely in response to user-initiated inbound messages.
2. How to Opt In
You opt in to Plain Line by texting START or any question to (330) 500-1990. By doing so, you consent to receive SMS replies from Plain Line. Upon first contact, you will receive a confirmation message with service disclosures.
3. How to Opt Out
You may stop receiving messages at any time by replying STOP to any Plain Line message. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation and no further messages will be sent unless you re-subscribe by replying START.
4. Help

5. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your activity. Plain Line only sends replies when you send a question. We do not send scheduled, promotional, or bulk messages.
6. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Plain Line is not responsible for any charges assessed by your carrier.
7. Carrier Disclaimer
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Service availability may vary by carrier and location.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Plain Line only for lawful, personal informational purposes. You may not use the Service to:
- Submit false, misleading, or harmful content
- Attempt to manipulate or abuse the system
- Violate any applicable local, state, or federal law
9. Informational Purposes Only
All replies provided by Plain Line are for general informational purposes only. Plain Line does not provide legal, medical, financial, or professional advice. Always consult a qualified professional for decisions in those areas.
10. Service Availability
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Service. Plain Line may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without prior notice.
11. Trial and Paid Plans
Plain Line may offer a limited free trial period. Upon exhaustion of trial messages, continued use may require enrollment in a paid plan. Plan details will be communicated by SMS and posted at plainline.co.
12. Privacy
Your use of Plain Line is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Plain Line Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or reliance on any information provided.
14. Changes to These Terms
